HUGHES (nee Bell), Nora
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nora Hughes (nee Bell) the last surviving member of her immediate family .
Sisters Mary, Margery, Phyllis, Catherine and brother Jack. Nora was born on May 6th, 1916 in Barons, Alberta and passed away on the 26th of February, 2008. She had been residing at Eagle Park Care Facility since 2005.
Nora is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward (Ted), daughter Deborah Gail, Son Edward and Daughter-in-law-Deborah. Five granddaughters Cory, Kimberley, Jillian, Jessica and Brittanny.
Nora was a wonderful Wife and Mother and found great joy in her family. Her smiles, hugs, and kisses will be missed by all.
The family wish to thank the wonderful staff of Eagle Park for taking care of our wife, mother and grand mother.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society of B.C. would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life for Nora will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, March 11 at 2 pm, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo
