SHOVE, Norman Glanvill
(82 years) On Friday, June 28, 2002 at Nanaimo General Hospital. Survived by wife Helen, his sons Michael (wife Kerstin), and Gregory (wife Cindy), grandchildren Claire, Sarah, Caelum, Maddy, Bobby, new family Douglas (wife Gerri), Laura (husband Justin), and their children. He was recently retired Chair/President of the Old Schoolhouse Arts Centre in Qualicum Beach, former President of Oakville Arts Council and member of Oakville Historical Society. Norman served as Captain in the British Medical Corps from 1940-1946. He retired in 1984 after a distinguished business career culminating as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Downs Surgical PLC in the U.K.
Funeral services was held on Thursday, July 4 at 4:00 p.m. at Parksville Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville
