Apr 5, 1935 - Apr 27, 2018
Patricia "Patsy" Nease (nee Leriger) was born in Grande Prairie, Alta., on April 5, 1935, and died quietly in Pitt Meadows, B.C., on April 27, 2018, at the age of 83.

Patsy - the youngest of five children born to Laurence and Lucille Leriger (all predeceased) - was raised on the home quarter in Wanham, Alta., until she left for Ontario as a teenager to start her decades-long career in nursing.

She married the late Ronald Nease (1994) in 1958, and moved all over Alberta with their four children, Pam, Phillip (Lorraine), Ronald (Tania) and Michael (Lisa), until retiring to Parksville, B.C. The pair were exceedingly well-travelled, and their adventures took them around the globe.

Patsy was a more-than-avid reader, a cribbage, bridge and golf aficionado, and held throughout her life a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.

She leaves to mourn her four loving children, her grandchildren Seth, Lilla, Steven, Lauren, Maddy, Max, McKinley, Terry and Kristy, and a large extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to the internment at the Pioneer Cemetery in Spruce Grove, Alta. (52531 Range Rd. 271), on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 1:30 pm.

A celebration of Patsy's life will be held in the Spruce Grove/Edmonton area later that day, starting at 4:30 pm, at a location to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patsy's memory may be made to the Qualicum Beach Streamkeepers Society, where she volunteered for many years.
