Pat passed away quietly after a courageous battle with cancer. Her husband Allan and son Christopher were nearby. She was predeceased by her mother Margaret and father Marvin Lockwood.
She is survived by her husband Allan, son Christopher, sister Katherine and many nieces and great nieces and nephews.
Her dogs were an integral part of her life, passed on were Buddy, Angel and Rex. Left to mourn is Journey.
Pat was born in England and came to Canada at an early age. She spent a number of her adult years caregiving and married Allan who was a commercial fisherman. She then changed careers to commercial fishing and later moved to Deep Bay where she became the Harbor Master for 15 years.
Pat loved gardening and produced the most beautiful flowers in the neighbourhood, saving the "Special" seeds for her good friend Sandy. Hockey was also Pat's Passion, sharing that with another good friend Judy, as well as being an avid reader sharing her books with her neighbours.
Genealogy was a huge hobby of Pat's and she corresponded regularly with both she and Allan's Family. She could go back a few hundred years. Pat collected nearly everything and if neighbours needed anything Pat usually could find it. She was also a beautiful knitter.
Pat had a full and varied life and will be missed by family and friends.
Heartfelt Thank You to the Doctors and Nurses and Caregivers who were so kind to Pat.
