With sadness in our hearts, we announce that Pat passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband of 59 years Daryl. Also left to mourn are her son David, daughter-in-law Darlene, sister-in-law Judy Hayes and many family friends. Pat was predeceased by her father William, her mother Fanny and her brother David. Mom was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. She had a love of animals, enjoyed her arts and craft, was a fabulous cook and loved to be in her rose garden. A special thanks to all the staff at Arrowsmith Lodge that took such good care of mom over the past seven months.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 @ 11:00am at the Knox United Church, 345 N Pym St Parksville, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arrowsmith Rest Home Society Foundation, 266 Moilliet St Parksville, BC V9P 1M9.
