Harrison, Patrick (Paddy) Anthony
November 19,1936 –December 1,2006
Passed away peacefully with his family at his side after suffering a massive heart attack. Left to cherish Paddy’s memory are his loving wife Alice, of 51 years, son Randy (Teresa) Harrison and daughters Theresa (Allen) Sankey, Carolyn (Jim) Farrington, Roxanne (Howie) Adams and Donna (Bruce) Addy. His 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a new arrival any day will also sadly miss Paddy. Paddy is also survived by his brother Brian (Jerry) Harrison and sister Margaret (Pete) Balding. He was predeceased by his father Patrick and Mother Barbara, and grandson Patrick Kevin. Paddy was a commercial fisherman for 54 years and lived in Qualicum Beach for 42 years. Paddy was a kind, loving and generous person and will always be remembered for loving his family. He loved water, camping with his family, and his furry-legged friends (Cocomo, Keta, and Dozer).
The family would like to thank all those who helped Paddy and the staff at ICU at the Nanaimo General Hospital.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday December 7th, 2006 at Yates Funeral Home (1000 Allsbrook Road), Parksville at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception tea and then a graveside burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parksville SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, on Paddy’s behalf.
