Paul Leger
The Leger family grieves the loss of their special Uncle Paul after a long convalescence.
Locals remember Paul making his daily circuit to greet everyone at the SOS, the Legion, the Seniors Drop-in, the coffee shops, and QF and of course, the casino.
Paul lived at the Parksville Lions Housing Society on Moilliet and later at Huswick Place on Jensen. His final year was spent at Halliday House after failing to recover from a surgical procedure and he died of a heart attack on Dec 14.
He will be laid to rest next to his mother in
London Ontario.
His local family members, Armand and Lila, Lisa, Leo, Giselle, and his many sibling, in-laws, nieces and nephews are grateful for the kindness and respect shown to Paul by the staff and residents at Halliday House and at the Association for Community Living.
