MITCHELL, Peggy
Passed peacefully from this life on Friday, April 9, 2004 at Arranglen Gardens, Qualicum Beach, BC.
Peggy was born and raised in Victoria, B.C., and had lived and worked on Vancouver Island most of her life. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Mitchell, in 1988, Peggy leaves, and will always be fondly remembered by her two sons, Alex Burdick (Pat), Port Alberni, B.C., and Nick Burdick (Donna), Lantzville, B.C., her granddaughter, Carolyn Roque (Phil), Coquitlam, B.C., her great-grandson Tyson Burdick, Nova Scotia, and her sister Estelle Tutte (Frank), Victoria, B.C., her extended family of nieces, Jeananne, and Elizabeth and their families, nephew John and his family, as well as her many valued friends in Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Victoria.
A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the Bowen Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo.
A celebration of Peggy's life will follow the service. Please join us.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and co-workers at Arranglen Gardens, where Peggy spent this past year, for all the kind and gentle care she was given.
