PENNY WALKER
born November 28, 1948 in Kamloops, passed into the care and keeping of a just and merciful God on August 6, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with Huntington's Disease. Her faith in the Lord Jesus was strong to the very end. Penny was born to Paddy and Gladys Marshall. She graduated from high school in Kamloops before attending the University of British Columbia. Meeting Allan in Vancouver, they were married in 1969, celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary last December. Two lovely daughters were born to them: Judi in 1971 and Patricia in 1973. Penny's beloved granddaughter, Matana, was born in 2006. Penny leaves behind, in their love for her, husband Allan; daughters Judi (Alvin) and Patricia (Tony); granddaughter Matana; brothers Bert (Terry), David (Maureen), and Rick (Lynne); nephews, nieces, and numerous other relatives.
Thank you to so many who helped Penny wonderfully well in the last number of years.
A celebration of life and eternal life was held Wednesday, August, 11, at Qualicum Community Baptist Church, in Qualicum Beach, B.C.
