MAYERS, R.J. Neville
October 9, 1908 - May 5, 2006
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Neville was predeceased by his loving wife Myrtle, sister Helen, daughter Janette and granddaughter Jennifer. He leaves to mourn, his son Jim (Jo-Ann), daughter Dorothy (Jerry), grandchildren Jason (Wendy), Christa (Darcy), Julie (Clark), Russ (Carmen), Shelby and Dean (Colette), great-grandchildren Katie, Liam, Harley, Joey, Koen, Cooper, Chelsea Aryanna and Megan. Papa was a dedicated husband, wonderful father and provider, special granddad and treasured Papa to all. He was a keen fisherman; avid environmentalist, competitive card player, wonderful gardener and he loved a political debate. He will be deeply missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday May 13, at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neonatal ICU at BC Children’s Hospital, 4480 Oak Street, Room B321,
