YOUNG, Ray Malcolm
Long time resident of Parksville, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2009.
Ray was born April 16, 1916 in Styal, Alberta and moved to Parksville in 1935.
Predeceased by daughter Linda and wife Hattie. He will be sadly missed by daughter Maureen (Robert); grandchildren Graeme (Glenda), Mark (Meredith), Trina (Bret) and Michelle; great grandchildren Taylor, Danielle, Hannah, Rowan, Leia, Thomas and Kate.
Ray was Mayor of Parksville from 1970-1975, belonged to the Masonic Lodge and Kinsmen Club.
No service by request. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
