Passed away, August 1, 2005
Rita Kelly of Qualicum Beach, B.C. passed away on August 1, 2005 at Nanaimo Regional Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 71 years. Born in Westlock Alberta, she was the daughter of the late Dagmar Carlson and Paul Devin.
Rita is survived by her husband of 50 years, Greg Kelly, sons Paul (Carla) of Cobble Hill, B.C. and William of Ontario, sister Alice Chaloner of Winnipeg, Man. and grandchildren David of Vancouver and Heather (Jesh) de Rox as well as great grandson Prevail de Rox.
Rita was predeceased by her brother Arthur and sister Paula.
Rita was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76 Qualicum Beach.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at The Church of Ascension in Parksville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Rita’s memory.
