DALTON, Robert (Bob)
1916 - 2002 of Coombs, B.C.
Robert (Bob) Dalton passed away December 2, 2002 at Nanaimo Hospital. Bob was predeceased by his wife Louise and son Clarence who both passed away in 1974. Bob is survived by his son Allen (Eryn) Dalton, and grand children Miranda, Nathan, and Matthew. He is also mourned by his loving sister Edna Arrow of Ontario, and special friend Helen Glover, and numerous cousins.
Robert Henery Dalton was born May 11, 1916 in Saskatchewan near Perdue and was raised on the family farm. Married to Louise (Balding) on November 11, 1941. They moved to Vancouver where their son Clarence was born in 1943 and later moved to the Yukon for two years and settled in Prince George in 1945, where son Allen was born in 1953.
Bob worked as a mechanic and welder ‘til his retirement in 1975. After retiring he moved to Coombs on Vancouver Island where he resided ‘til his passing.
