Bob’s brave struggle with health problems ended on October 20, 2006. He was surrounded by the love and support of his wife of 30 years, Matti.
We, his family, have so many people to thank for their kind words, thoughts, prayers and hugs during this difficult time. Special thanks to Drs. Bradley Bell and Michael Flescher, Dashwood Fire and Rescue and the paramedics - your compassionate care will never be forgotten. To Wildwood Community Church, to our friends and neighbours - thank you so much for your phone calls, cards, flowers, food and abundant gifts of time and love. Your concern for our well-being has been overwhelming.
At Bob’s request, no service is being held.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be sent to the North Island Wildlife Recovery Assn, Parksville, BC.
His passion for fishing and hunting, his love of life, and his incredible sense of humour will be deeply missed by family and friends.
We wish you an eternity of “Gone Fishing” days, Bob.
