At Eagle Park Health Facility in Qualicum Beach, BC. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a Wonderful Husband, Father, Grandpa & Great Grandpa, loyal friend and kind neighbour.

Bob fought a difficult battle right to the end, to which he always said “never give up fighting”

Born in Edmonton Alberta, Bob soon found his way out west to Victoria, BC. Where he met the love of his life Susie. Soon after he joined and served with the Royal Canadian Navy & travelled the world for 25 years. Then he was off to the Federal Government for another 12 years, before retiring in Abbotsford in 1972. After retirement it was fishing as often as possible, swimming & playing pool with Mom. Then in 2003 Bob & Susie relocated to Qualicum beach to be close to their daughter Lorine and Jeff.

Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew him including wife Susie of 59 3/4 years, daughter Lorine and Jeff, Grandson Richard, Granddaughter Jennifer and Great Granddaughter Diamond whom he was so proud of. As well as many loving cousins from BC & Alberta including Sylvia, Marjorie, Vic, Ray, Lynn, Margaret Kepplar, Dianne, Allan & Laura.

The Service willbe held Friday April 23 at Yates Funeral Home, Parksville BC at 1pm, with a private family internment @ Royal Oak Cemetery in Victoria BC at a later date.

Kindly no flowers, but perhaps a donation the the Charity of Your Choice.
