Gillard, Ronald Edward
Ron passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on October 16th 2006.
In Loving Memory of our Daddy and Poppa, Ronald Edward Gillard. Ron was born at Grace Hospital in Scarborough Ontario on January 6th 1952. Ron loved to fly planes and was a carpenter. He was good with his hands. He drove tractor trailer for many years. He often told his daughters and granddaughters of his adventures with Herbie the mouse, he loved spending time with his girls. Ron also loved to take his beautiful dog Keely to town and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Ron was predeceased by his father Ronald Kenneth Gillard and his mother Marliyn Louise (Taylor) Gillard.Â
Ron leaves behind his daughters April (Ben) and Miranda (Dan) and his grandbabies Rhiannon, Cora, Maia, and Ryann. Ron also leaves behind his brothers Tom (Mary), Tim, Ken and his sisters Carolyn and Ruth (Russell). As well as his daughters’ mother Kathy “Kat”. Ron also left behind his nephew Blaine and many other nieces and nephews. He will be sorrowfully missed by many.

 A Wake will be held at his daughter Miranda’s house on Sunday October 29th, 2006 at 1:00 pm at #7-1700 Alberni Hwy Coombs. Anyone who knew and loved our Dad are welcome to attend.
