Roy died peacefully at home, on Tuesday 20, October. Much loved husband of Elizabeth, father of Ian (Farrah), Andrea (Chad). Brother of John, Cochrane Alberta, and Nick of Leighton Buzzard, England.
Roy lived and worked for 30 years in Calgary. Most of those years were spent with Pamco and Enerflex. Elizabeth and Roy retired to their lovely home in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island in 2002. Since then Roy has thoroughly enjoyed his garden and playing golf, at Eaglecrest Golf Club. A month ago he was part of an Expat. team of golfers playing in the "Ryder Cup" which was won by the Canadians!!!
A Memorial service for Roy will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Parksville on Wednesday October 28, at 11am. Immediately following the service his friends and family are invited to the Eaglecrest Golf Club for a beer or two in his honour.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
