Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 12, 1941. John died on February 13, 2011 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital from pancreatic cancer. Survived by his loving family; wife Jacquie, daughter Allison (Andrew), son Cameron (Sophie), grandchildren Ailsa, Alexander, Cooper and Rosie, his brother Robert (Charlotte), sister-in-law Trina, nieces Emily (Jeremy), Clare (Jody), Amelia and nephew Ian, as well as great nieces Sadie and Josephine, great nephews Jack and Wyatt. Predeceased by his brother Douglas.
John was a partner at BDO Dunwoody in Vancouver until his retirement to Qualicum Beach in 1995. His care and devotion as a husband, father and grandfather will be greatly missed. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Brad Bell, Dr. John Carr and the nurses in Medical Imaging, especially Ramona and Jane.
