RONDA LYNNE MCNABB
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronda Lynne McNabb.
She is survived by her husband Michael, sister Maria Eastwood of Alberta, step-son Stuart (Melanie) and grandchildren William and Charlotte of Vancouver.
Also mourning her loss are her co-workers Sandy, Fay, Maureen, Debbie, Carol & Kim.
Ronda worked for many years in the publishing industry in Vancouver and later moved to Vancouver Island with Michael. It was here that Ronda started her career in women’s fashion, first working at Suzanne’s and then working for Close To You Ladies Fashion. It was here that Ronda formed many lasting friendships. Ronda was a valued staff member, a loyal friend and assistant to us all. There was no task that Ronda couldn’t put her mind to and she was always ready to help. She showed care and concern and was always aware of your joys and gave you comfort with your troubles.
Ronda loved going to dinner with Michael at the Rod and Gun, sharing a glass of red wine with co-workers, showing off pictures of William and Charlotte, and talking about the travels she had had in earlier days.
She was a joy to know; we will all miss her spirit, her tenacity and her smile.
There will be no service by Ronda’s
request. Any donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
