Rory Thomas Kennelly

In Loving Memory ~
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Rory Kennelly at the age of 41.
Rory was born in Tofino, B.C. and had been living in Parksville for most of his life. Rory was a quiet, gentle soul, an amazing friend, and a wonderful human being, with a very big heart, the last one to complain.
He leaves to mourn his mother Terrie Taylor, father Tom Kennelly, sister Tara (Kahlil), brothers Isaac, Tony and Matthew, and a circle of extended family and stepfamily. Also, his son Liam (Jamie) and brand-new grandson Bjorn, sadly Rory only got to meet him in pictures.
Rory was in the construction trade, from building homes, and of lately renovating kitchens and bathrooms, he was a meticulous finishing carpenter and painter. Rory was well respected and liked in his community with all the building trades.
Rory took pride in building his own computer systems from the ground up. Rory found his online communities in the music and gaming world where he went by the alias Erainn. He was a charter and made custom charts for a game called Rocksmith 2014 so that anyone could learn and play music, he promoted smaller name bands and helped them gain recognition.
He was a very active and supportive member of the Twitch community and a moderator for a couple streamers. His community says his legacy will be forever.
Memorial Service will be held 12th March 2023 at 1:00 p.m. for all family members, friends and all trades people who knew him that are able to join us in remembrance with your stories.
Refreshments will be served after service.
