Rosalma Patricia (Alma) Golob

Born December 12, 1952, died suddenly July 9, 2013, at Victoria Royal Jubilee Hospital. Predeceased by both her parents Frank and Doreen Ovington, Alma is survived by her husband of 44 years Leo Golob, her son Ivan (Gloria), daughter Patricia (Kevin) and five grandchildren, Trentin, Tyra, Emma, Jane and Owen.

Alma was born in Campbell River and resided in the Parksville Qualicum area all of her life where she raised her family. Alma had many hobbies such as sewing, painting, needlepoint and beachcombing at Qualicum Bay.

Alma enjoyed working at Arrowsmith Lodge especially the time she got to spend with the residents. Continually working to upgrade her education, Alma recently received her Diploma in Nutrition and Food Service Management at Langara College.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 20, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Bradley Centre, 975 Shearme Road.

In lieu of flowers donations could be made at Arrowsmith Lodge to the Resident’s Comfort Fund.
