Rosemary was born and raised in Victoria, BC where she enjoyed singing and dancing often performing at McPhearson Playhouse. She was married at 18 and after the marriage ended she travelled with her two young daughters to Churchill, Manitoba to marry Harry Podwysocki. It was there that their daughter Roseanne was born. In 1969, she and Harry owned and operated Central Auto Court in Parksville, BC. Rosemary went back to college in her forties and then worked as a caregiver at Arrowsmith Lodge for 17 years. Rosemary loved working and caring for the elderly and before she became ill she acquired her clown certification to be able to entertain residents in her free time. Her clown name was Solei. She was a long-time member of TOPS in Parksville where she made many friends.

Rosemary will be remembered for her love of singing, wonderful storytelling, good humor, gentle spirit and most of all her huge love for her family.
