Ruth passed away at 11:11 pm on Sunday, October 14th after a long difficult journey with Alzheimers. She leaves behind her son, Jimmy; daughter, Sharon (Dan); granddaughter, Inara; mother, Ethel (Fred) Nott; sisters, Janie (Greg) Simister; Marian Heiman; brother, Bill (Elise) Reid; aunt, Eileen Griffith; uncle, Ray (Susie); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her dad, Eddy Reid; grandma, Ruby Taylor; and brother-in-law, Ken Heiman.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the team at The Lodge on Fourth in Ladysmith for the loving care they gave to Ruth during her stay with them.
