FISHER, Sarafina (nee Anselmo)
July 22 1952 to October 23 2013
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sara Fisher, beloved wife, mother, nonna, aunt, cousin and friend. She passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside.
Sara is survived by her husband Mark, son Sandro, daughter Erica (Ralph), grand-daughter Talia, siblings Tony (Jackie) Frank (Kathie) and Anna (Kirk) and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Sara was born in Prince Rupert, moved to Winnipeg for most of her teen years, then settled with her family in Vancouver where she attended Templeton High School. She worked in the banking sector for many years before moving to the Island and opening Serafina’s Fine Foods.
Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29,
at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church,
525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C.
Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30.
A private interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.
