With sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of our dear daughter, sister, and friend Sarah.
Raised in Parksville, Sarah spent her adult years in Victoria and on Quadra Island. In her prime, Sarah trekked the mountains of Nepal and led caving tours on Vancouver Island. She educated the public on the merits of urban agriculture and food security at the Victoria Compost Education Centre, volunteered with a variety of local service groups, and in her spare time produced incredible pieces of artwork. Sarah had an adventurous spirit and a gift for working with children.
Sarah loved to laugh and possessed a well- developed sense of humour. Her smile was genuine and infectious, and she will be missed dearly.
