June 22, 1964 – January 16, 2012
At the age of 47, in Parksville, BC., Shari passed away peacefully in the presence of family. She was predeceased by her father Robert Joseph in July of 2009. She leaves behind her mother Irene, sister Maureen, children Dean (Charlene), Cory (Nicole) and Holly (Daniel) and brother Ryan (Louise) and daughter Whitney.
Born in High River, Alberta, Shari attended school in Calgary. Her family moved to Vancouver Island in 1990. Shari has been involved in the “Options” program for the handicapped in the Parksville and District Association for Community Living. Shari had an amazing endurance dealing with all of her health problems without complaint. She enjoyed music and dancing, coloring, games, crafts and loved going out for meals at Gary’s, McDonalds and Qualicum Foods.
In her healthier days, she enjoyed putting at the golf course in Palm Springs and swimming at the pool on her family holidays in Hawaii. All of her enjoyments were made possible because of her wonderful caregivers over the years.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 47, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of the Ascension, 887 Wembley Road, Parksville, BC
