Sharon has joined her Malcolm after a protracted period of illness. With gratitude to her grandson Kigen and all who tirelessly helped daily, she is finally at peace and without pain.
Sharon is survived by son, Darren (Trudy); daughter, Melanie; missing her are grandchildren, Kigen, Alexandra, Raegan, Andrew, Sarah, Jayden and former daughter-in-law Judith; brothers, Trevor (Ilean), Philip (Christina); brother in law Mike Mead-Miller (Judy); sister in law Sheila (Howie) Hambleton; dearest friends, Sheila and Dave Isenor. She was predeceased by husband, Malcolm in January of 2016 as well as her parents Geoff and Anne Dawborn.
Sharon and Malcolm travelled extensively to the Middle East, the Far East, the South Pacific and Europe. They also spent many happy days at Melanie and Takashi’s home on the Island of Hawaii.
In the early 1990’s, they moved to sunny Bowser and settled into a quiet lifestyle. Sharon loved her home and her garden and sharing all with family and friends.
Sharon will be missed. A special thanks to all her many health care providers over the years with a special mention of Doctor Donald Jenkins who was a tremendous advocate for her care.
