Sherry Juanita Bannister
June 6, 1935 – December 25, 2016
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sherry Juanita Bannister, 81, of Qualicum Beach, BC on December 25, 2016.
After a courageous battle with esophageal cancer, Sherry developed respiratory complications and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. It was a blessing that during her last two weeks she did receive some relief from the cancer and was able to enjoy many visits from friends and family.
Sherry is survived by her two sons, Gary (Corri), Rick (Denise), as well as her stepson, Daryl (Christy), brother, Dirk (Cheryl), and sister, Heather. She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Roy Burton, as well as her brother, Dave Bannister. Sherry was proud to be a great great grandmother of one, great grandma to six, and grandmother of five.
A Memorial Service will be held in Sherry’s
honour at 1:30pm on Tuesday, January 17th, 2017
at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 138 Hoylake Rd W, Qualicum Beach, BC.
