Mom was filled with joy at becoming a grandmother and delighted in time spent with her little one.

She always throught of others, and even during the difficult times of her illness. Mom expressed interest and concern for those around her. Throughout the past two years, Mom faced the challenge of cancer with dignity and grace. Never one to complain, she accepted all that came her way with strength and determination. The family extends sincere appreciation to all who cared for Mom and kept her in their thoughts and prayers during the past two years.

MOM

For as long as I can remember,

I’ve wanted to be like you —

gentle and gracious and wise.

Because I admire you so much,

The greatest compliment I can ever receive

Is for someone to say,

“You remind me so much of your mother.”

An angel on Earth, an angel in Heaven.
