It is with great sadness that we announce Shirley's passing on Sunday November 15, 2020 at NRGH she was 86 years old.
Shirley will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 65 years Pete McLellan, Daughters: Cheryl (Craig) Peterson, Susan (Bob) Cross & Foster son Orville Drake, Grandchildren: Danny Peterson, Cheyne (April) Davies, Jamie (Ashley) Peterson, Bryan (Rachel) Davies, Great grandchildren: Kaiden, Trevan, Nikki, Ava, Ryder, Jaxon, Dallen, Hayden, Cage & Hunter.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents Opal & Milton Stevenson, Son Steve McLellan, Her 5 siblings Doreen, Mel, Donny, Joan &Deanna, in laws Ethel & Joe
McLellan, Brother in Laws Ronnie & James (Chum) McLellan.
Shirley married Pete on July 23, 1955 in New Westminster, BC. They lived in different parts of BC until 1973 when they purchased a shellfish farm and settled in Nanoose Bay, they spent many years working the farm and still own it.
They had 65 wonderful years together raising their 3 children as well as many foster children. Shirley loved her family especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren her face would light up with so much joy every time she seen them.
