WITZKE, Sophie Mary
of Qualicum Beach, B.C. passed away peacefully on May 29, 2005 at the
age of 89 years. Sophie is survived by her daughter Lydia (Arthur)
Hoffman of Qualicum Beach, BC; 2 grandchildren Timothy (Elaine) of
Barriere, BC and their son Kristopher; Sandra (Larry) Clark of Red
Deer, AB and their daughter Gabrielle and sons Christopher and Michael;
7 sisters Evelyn, Rose, Patricia, Helen, Elizabeth, Margaret and Olga
and 2 brothers Elmer and George. Predeceased by her husbands Adolf in
1961 and Henry Witzke in 1994 and 2 sisters Annie and Caroline. Sophie
enjoyed gardening, homemaking, travelling and playing cards. She was a
member of the Catholic Women's League for 64 years. A Funeral Mass will
be held on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 10:30 am at the Church of the
Ascension, 887 Wembley Road, Parksville, BC. Reverend Father Josef
Kobos S.O.S. Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sophie's
