#16 on the fi eld #1 in our hearts and memories

March 31, 1969 - May 26, 2011

Stac was taken from us all to soon! He was predeceased by his Baba & Deda Strelaeff, Baba & Deda Hadikin, his aunty Katie Hadikin & Uncle Cecil Tarasoff & his favorite Doctor, Dr. John Brighton. Stac was an incredible man, who was strong in so many ways than just physical. His heart was strong and you could often hear from him “love yah”. Stacy’s legacy will carry on by his family; his beloved wife Darcy and his 5 month old son Steel, by his step children Lacy and Landon; his loving mom and dad, Annette & Peter Hadikin, brother Clint Hadikin and sisters Amy and Pamela Hadikin; brother-in-law Shawn Trivett and Bill Hadikin and two most beloved nephew Ryan Trivett and niece Maya Hadikin. So many uncles and aunties, cousins and best of friends, Cody, Jesse, Ron, Grai and so many more.

Stac lived his life to the fullest, played and loved every sport he took part in. From hockey, to rugby, football, golf, baseball, boxing, you name it he excelled at it. He had a great attitude about getting the most out of life. All of us that knew Stac feel a deep sorrow and hole in our hearts for the loss of his life being taken too soon. Stacy loved and lived for family and his friends. He was not a shy guy, he spoke his mind and had the best hugs, forgave easily, loved fearlessly and lived with passion. He truly set a great example how to live our life without regrets. His infectious smile & raspy voice were unique just like he was.

You are missed Stacy, and will forever be remembered and thought of often. We are so grateful and are better people for having known you and for having the time to get to spend with you. May you watch over us, and keep us safe and let us feel your presence as long as we all shall live. We love you Stac with all our hearts!

A private memorial service was held at Yates Funeral Chapel on May 31, 2011. Stac’s life was celebrated on June 4, 2011 with many friends and family from all over the country.

On Friday June 17, 2011, Stacy’s Legacy Party is held at Coombs Rodeo ground where all proceeds will go to his son Steel Hadikin. Visit Facebook “Stacy’s Legacy” for more information.
