HARSTAD, Stella Kathleen
Passed away at NRGH on December 26, 2009
at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her husband John. She will be missed by her son Marty Harstad, daughters Carol (Doug) Romain and Karen (Marty) Fehr, grandchildren Carly Harstad, Dallas Eisner, Jesse Romain, Catherine Fielding and great grandson Ashton Eisner.
Special thanks to her caregivers Jesse Romain, Chrissy Bull, Julie Bull, Anita Pyne, Amy and Jenna Davis and all the horses she met who contributed so much to her life.
Her last horseback ride was on her 91st birthday.
She leaves a legacy of kindness always putting the needs of others first. A pioneer feminist with a degree from Cambridge University, her fiesty spirit will always be remembered.
