Steven Morley Warren
July 17, 1964 – October 24, 2015
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Steve, at Parksville, B.C., in his sleep.
Steve is survived by loving parents Mary Coates of Parksville, John Warren of Ottawa and by brothers Greg (Heather) of Sydney, B.C., Ken (Tracy) of Ottawa and sister Adrienne (Alan) of Bronte, ON.
Steve was a caring uncle to nieces Thea, Hartley, Hunter and Holly Warren.
Steve, a graduate of Algonquin College, was a gifted cook.
He was also a brilliant story-teller, with a hearty laugh to match his outstanding sense of humour, amusing family and friends with tales of bizarre adventures, mostly his own. He was a frequent traveller.
In his younger days, Steve was a standout competitive swimmer and a treehugger as a golfer. His highly competitive tennis and paperball matches with family members were legendary. To the end, he enjoyed tennis, golf and televised sports of all kinds.
