Susan Elaine Hamre, 62, passed October 17th, 2018. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith, and the love and prayers carried her through her valiant fight with cancer. Susan was born in North Vancouver, she enjoyed many fun memories on their farm in Hilliers.
After graduating from Qualicum Secondary School, she went on to graduate from the Practical Nursing program at Malaspina. She then met her soul mate Fred. They enjoyed raising their 3 beautiful children in Chemainus..
Survived by her husband Fred, children Bryce, Krista Johnson, Bryan and families, parents Arie and Kathleen, siblings Arien Hood, Jeanie Meservia, Anna Sjoo, Willem VanSpronsen and their families
A celebration of life will be held at the New Life Baptist Church (1839 Tzouhalem Rd, Duncan, BC) Saturday, November 3rd at 10 am.
