RODGER, Thomas (Ron) Scott
Late resident ofQualicum Beach, B.C.
Beloved husband of Patricia who shared his life for 55 years; born January 3, 1929 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Passed away March 24, 2006 at Nanaimo General Hospital at the age of 77 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory: loving daughters Brenda (Bruce) Howard, and Karen (Murray) Abercrombie and his treasured granddaughters, Erin (Ben), Sarah (Lee), Melanie, Shauna, and Krista and great-granddaughter, Keira.
He will also be greatly missed by his sister Rachel (Les) Taylor of Victoria, and his brother Donald (Marlene) of Chilliwack and Pat’s sisters June Cameron and Carole (Larry) Trush of Manitoba and brother Don (Jill) Sinclair of Vancouver and many nieces and nephews of both clans.
Tom (Ron) was predeceased by his daughter Barbara Joan in 1970, and his brothers John, Alex, Walter, Robert and sister Isabel.
Through his varied careers and hobbies, he leaves behind many who were proud to call him a friend.
Thomas Scott Rodger was a man to honour in death as in life. By his request, we are honouring himin a family celebration of his life onFriday, March 31, 2006 on Quadra Island.
Ron, you will always live in my heart.You are the wind beneath my wings and I will love you and miss you forever. Pat.
