It is with broken hearts that Tim's family shares the news of his passing. Tim was predeceased by his sister Debbie Colibaba (1995), father Len Colibaba (2002), brother-in-law Gordon Mitchell (2003), mother Eileen Colibaba (2020) and nephew Jordan Mitchell (2021).
Left to mourn their loss are his sisters, Valerie Mitchell (Parksville) and Chris Colibaba (Randy Senft) and their children (Nanaimo), nephews David and Adam Mitchell (Vancouver), great nephew Eric Mitchell (Alberta) and extended family. He will also be greatly missed by his
church family at Our Saviour Lutheran Church and the many friends and loyal customers who loved him.
Tim was well known and appreciated for his musical knowledge and customer care as the owner of Cranky Dog Music in Parksville for 25 years. He loved live music and promoted events up and down the Island. Along with the business, over the years Tim also enjoyed fishing, golfing, squash and spending time with family and friends. He loved a good joke, even the corny ones, but along with a great sense of humour came a very empathetic person, always willing to lend an ear. Chris and Val were proud to be known as "Tim's sisters".
Notice of a celebration of life will be given at a later, safer date. Donations in Tim's name may be made to Niemann-Pick Canada.
