GIORDANO, Vana Lee
March 3, 1955 - April 23, 2005
Vana was born in Prince Rupert, BC. Passed away in the Hospice Ward of the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Vana is survived by her children Cory and Theresa of Sooke, and grandchildren Ariana and Dylan. Partner Shaun Morgan, Victoria, mother Joyce Jackson, Qualicum Beach, brother John (Kelly) Giordano, Courtenay, sister Susan (John) Elton, Vancouver, niece Jaimie Dunlop, nephew Raymond Giordano, step-brother Glenn Jackson, step-sister Cathy Jackson and brother-in-law Gary Corbett.
Predeceased by her father Louis Giordano, sister Val Marie Corbett, brother Nicholas and stepfather Bill Jackson.
Vana worked for many years in the food and hospitality industry. She was very gifted in crafts and owned the Crafty Fox in Sooke, BC.
Vana will be remembered for her smile and outgoing personality by her many friends and family.
We would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Units and Hospice, also Dr. Fletcher, Dr. Love and Dr. Wilde for their care and compassion.
Memorial service May 6th, 2pm, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 91, Station Road, Langford, Victoria.
