BEAUMONT, Vernon Henry

March 28, 1927 to January 19, 2007 passed away at the age of 79.

Beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Joy, of Qualicum Beach (formally of Deep Cove, N. Van and Saturna Island).

His daughters, Trish (George) Koning of Port Alberni, Holly Beaumont of Victoria, Leslie (John) Emerson of North Vancouver, and Cindy (Hank) Van Vliet of Qualicum Beach. His grandchildren, Luke, Heather, Ben & Jon Koning, James & Joy Emerson, and Rory & Heidi Van Vliet. Vern worked for 38 years as an appraiser for the City of Vancouver and the BC Assessment Authority. His hobbies were boating and vintage cars and he enjoyed taking an active part in clubs associated with both. Vern also had a special way and with love of animals and did volunteer work with Fire Departments and Auxiliary Coast Guard.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life at Joy’s home at 721 Chartwell Blvd., Qualicum Beach on Feb. 10, 2007 from 1 to 6 pm
