Victor Albert Carvell (Vic)
December 1, 1929 ~ November 15, 2015
We sadly say good-bye and announce the passing of our wonderful father, husband, and friend Vic Carvell.
Vic was born and raised in Vancouver where he established a successful electrical contracting firm that was involved in many residential and industrial projects throughout BC, including the Vancouver Maritime Museum and the lighting of the Lions Gate Bridge. An avid and skilled pianist, Vic loved music and played in dance bands for 40 years. He was a long-time member of the Lions, contributed to many charities, and was a Boy Scout leader.
Following the passing of his first wife, Vivian, Vic remarried and continued having a wonderful life on Vancouver Island with his second wife, Brenda.
Vic became very involved with the complete renovations of the Knox United church in Parksville. With his many years of construction experience, Vic over saw the project and helped create the church that is there today. Vic continued his loved music, traveling, reading and building model boats.
Vic is predeceased by his parents Herbert and Ida. Survived by his sister Dorothy(Al) De Groot and second wife Brenda of 15 years. Vic leaves behind his son Victor (Susan); son Bill (Leslie); daughter Susan(Denny). Six grandsons; Richard, David, Chris, Sean, Mitchell & Russell.

Step grandchildren; Graham(Tricia), Kayla, Nathan, Sarah, Tyler, Evan and extended family and many good friends.
