In loving memory ~

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Victor (Vic) John Greaves on May 1st at the age of 86.

Vic was born and raised in Birmingham, England November 21, 1938. Vic will be remembered for his love of life, his pride and love shown and given to his family, his brilliant sense of humor, his wit, his beautiful singing voice and having the brightest smile.

Vic is survived by his eternally loving wife Anita, his son Peter and his wife Kareen, his Grandchildren Katharine Bartsch (Chris), Sebastian (Candra) and Mitchell, his great- grandchildren Oliver, Charlie and Luca. He was predeceased by his Mother Phyllis, his Father Albert, his brother Gordon and an infant sister Valerie. As a family, we extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Susan Hunter and all the staff at Trillium Hospice... we can never thank you enough for your care, compassion, comfort, respect and dignity you gave to Vic - you will never be forgotten...and Thank You all for giving him his wings. A special thank you as well to Daryl Sneddon who's lasting friendship since moving to Englishman River will be forever appreciated.

As per Vic's request, there will be no service; the family will be holding a family celebration of a life well-loved, well lived and of one whom will be dearly missed; your legacy will live on through your family and your shining brightness will forever light up the sky.

This is not goodbye, it's 'til we meet again...don't know where, don't know when - but we will meet again.
