Van Gogh in the rough borderline genius passed away due to a long term illness. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon, brother in law Frank Hoshal, sister in law Florence Beaumont, niece Ginger Fern Mayell, and his loving parents Reg & Maida. Wayne was born in Victoria B.C. lived in Qualicum & Horne Lake for many years. At an early age he won many awards for his Artwork, majored in Art & Psychology at UVIC. Wayne worked his way through university by logging & as a deck hand. He worked on the Princess Margarite with Cliff Thornburn, the famous snooker and pool player. He had a hand at many things, hand building a cabin at Horne Lake. He had his small engine ticket and lately had taken courses in physics and computers. He always wanted to learn new things and was hoping to take up sailing, but he sailed away first. He is survived by, two brothers, Art (Rhonda) Saltspring Island, Mike (Mary) of Victoria and Three sisters Betty Aasen Campbell River, Pat Hoshal Victoria, Brenda (Willy) Mayell Qualicum Beach. He was Uncle Wayne to Justin & Jason Beaumont, Tim, Bob, Tanya Beaumont, Robin, Donna, Richard, Betty’s children, Bonnie & Danny Hoshal, and Reg & Coral Mayell. He was also a great uncle & a great great uncle.


Arrangement intrusted to First Memorial

Services, Royal Oak Victoria, BC.

A grave side service will be held on

Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial to follow at his nephews home.
