It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wilfred (Wilf as he liked to be called) on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Wilf passed away at home with is family and best friends (Chico, Skeeter, and Teddy Bear). Wilf joins his parents, Charles and Marie and brother Eugene. Wilf was born in Soverign, Saskatchewan. He lived for many years in Saskatoon Saskatchewan where he worked and raised a family. In 1988, Wilf and Val moved to Blue River BC, where they owned and operated the Blue River Motel. They moved to Qualicum Beach to retire and enjoy his life long dream. Wilf was a caring private, and compassionate man who was always there for all. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Our sincere thanks to Dr Haslett who went above and beyond; to his staff; and the staff and volunteers at Oceanside Hospice and palliative care.
