ROSS, Wilhelmina
Lovingly known as “Mina,” Wilhelmina passed away on October 29, 2007 at Eagle Park in Qualicum.
She is survived by her cousin Patricia Patterson of Liverpool, England. Mina came from Scotland to Vancouver Island in 1967. She owned and operated the charming ‘Cottage Gift Boutique’ in Qualicum Beach, and was active in both community projects and animal welfare. She was responsible for the installation of the ‘Village Clock’ at the juncture of Memorial Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
Her great love was her dedication to animals and her care for the lost, the homeless and the mistreated. Mina was a warm loving person with a delightful sense of humour. She will be greatly missed.
