QUAADE, William (Bill)
Passed away peacefully on April 23, 2006.
Born in Denmark on December 22, 1916, Bill was raised in Nova Scotia. He spent most of his life in North Vancouver and the later 20 years in French Creek. Bill is survived by Anne, his beloved wife of 64 years; children Peter, Bonnie, and Ingrid; sisters Ellen and Inga; brother Peter; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Chris.
A quiet, gentle man, he led by example. He was a man of many faces, it mattered not the task. Whether building a house or digging a duck blind, he thrived on the challenge. Bill did it right. Blessed with a phenomenal memory and a great sense of humor, he liked nothing more than to make family and friends welcome in his home. You were a class act Dad and we’ll miss you.
A Memorial Service will be held at Yates Chapel ?May 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm.
