SCOTT, William Harvey
September 28th, 1924 ~ December 16th, 2007
It is with deep regret that the family of William Harvey Scott announces his passing in Nanaimo General Hospital on December 16th, 2007.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Marie, his son Michael (Patty Dupre), his daughter Heather (Bob) Dobinson and his grandsons?Michael and Matthew Dobinson. He was predeceased by his parents Florence and Harvey Scott and his brother Lorne.
After serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II, Bill began his civilian career with Bell Canada and, later, Nortel until his retirement in 1983. He came to Qualicum Beach in 1985 and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for many years.
A funeral service was held on December 20, 2007 at
the Church of the Ascension, Parksville.
