HILDER, William (Bill) passed away peacefully on his 80th birthday, Aug. 6, 2002 at St. Paul’s Hospital after a battle with heart and kidney disease.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Greta, and his children Ron (Jen), Pat (Rick), Stu (Kelly) and Paul (Deanna). Poppa is greatly loved and his gentle kind spirit will be missed by his grandchildren Mark, Carolyn, Kelly, Stu, Ashley, Jonny, Shane, Alison, Emily and Matt. Born and raised in North Vancouver, some of Bill’s happiest times were spent coaching Little League and Lynn Valley Soccer and working with his friends at the District of North Vancouver.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the renal and palliative care units at St. Paul’s Hospital for all their care and support.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 11:30 am at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Hospital Renal Unit Trust Fund, c/o Room 6030, St. Paul’s Hospital.
Bill was a loving, honest and unselfish man always loved, always remembered.
