With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bill Davenport. Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen and his much loved sister Mary.
Bill will be forever missed and remembered by Our Angel, his love, Ruth Brodie, son Andrew (Anne), daughter-in-law Deb (Paul), his adored granddaughters Shannon (Josh) and Carly. As well as lifelong friends Pat and Margaret McGovern. Also missing him are his loving family and friends in the U.K. and the many dear friends he met along the way in Vancouver and on the Island.
He was a loving, supporting, amazing soul to all who knew him. Dad worked all his life in the trades, earning his Millwright and 4th Class Power Engineering trade certificates. Retiring in Qualicum Beach, Dad was an avid lawn bowler and so enjoyed teaching his prowess to those willing to learn. He will not doubt be missed by all in the lawn bowling community.
