INGLEE, William John
Born Feb. 6, 1924 in Moose Jaw, Sask, passed away at Sunrise on May 29, 2003 at Nanaimo Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Evelyn of Parksville, his son William (Bill) of Victoria and daughter-in-law Barbara. He was predeceased by his father John Milton Inglee and his mother Maud Elizabeth.
John served in the RCAF during WWII with the 160(BR) Squadron on the east coast. He worked as a heavy duty mechanic in the oil industry in Alberta for 32 years, first with British American Oil and later with Gulf Canada Resources Ltd.
There will be no service at John’s request.
In lieu of flowers, donation are welcome to the Palliative Care Ward, Nanaimo Regional General Hospital or the BC Cancer Foundation, Vancouver Island Cancer Centre, Victoria.
John’s unique sense of humour will be missed by all.
