William Kenneth Henson was born on November 14, 1937, in Victoria, British Columbia. He passed away peacefully at Eagle Park Health Care Facility on February 19, 2018 in his family's arms.
He will be so sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Bonnie and all of his loving children. Son Brian Henson and spouse Sidney, their children Cole, Reis, Tori and Jamie. Son Bruce Henson and spouse Gillian, their children Marshall, Parker and Iona. Daughter, Charlene McCabe and spouse Aaron, their children Vanessa and Dale.
Daughter Anne Ohs and spouse Rob, their children Hollie and Brittny and spouse Izaiah. Daughter Colleen Gray-Owen and spouse Peter, their children Ian, Garett and Kade. Son Randy Henson and partner Tasha, their children Brooklyn, Cody, MacKenna and Amelia.
Ken and Bonnie moved to Bowser, B.C. from Victoria in 1980. Ken worked in house construction and was a stone mason. In the later part of his working career, Ken started a small, successful trucking business. He was very well known as "ONE TON DUMP" to all the locals.
Ken was an active and hardworking, lifetime member of the Qualicum Bay Lions Club. Ken enjoyed weekends and holidays when all the children and grandchildren would come and visit.
Ken is also survived by one brother, Norman Henson and spouse Yvonne and one sister, Irene Head and spouse Dennis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to the loving staff of Eagle Park Health Care Facility for their extraordinary care of Ken in the past 6 years. Cremation has taken place. There is no service planned at this time.
